Heritage Hall knocked off Indiana Christian Academy 4-1. Brayden Karnes had a goal and a pair of assists in the win.

Blackford got four goals from Tryse Hendricks and rolled to a 10-0 win against Wapahani.


Class 4A No. 2 New Castle swept Pendleton Heights 25-18, 25-21, 25-14. Lauryn Gillis paced the Trojans with 21 kills and 11 digs.

Cowan swept Eastbrook 25-22, 25-21, 25-13. Valorie Flick had 18 digs for the Blackhawks, and Kristina Flowers had 12 kills.

Class 3A No. 1 Delta defeated Class 3A No. 6 Central 25-27, 25-21, 25-18, 25-15. Madison Bergren had a triple-double for the Eagles, logging 38 assists, 10 kills and 17 digs. Jessica Helms had 29 digs for Central.

Wapahani swept Blackford 25-7, 25-16, 25-14. Lindi Thomas had a team-leading 13 kills for the Raiders, and Katie Foster had 11 digs.

Daleville fell to Mississinewa 25-15, 25-17, 25-19. Hannah McKinney had 22 digs for the Broncos.

Blue River picked up its first MEC win of the season with a 25-20, 25-10, 25-23 sweep of Randolph Southern. Christina Hughes had 13 kills.

Winchester survived a wild match against Centerville, winning 25-23, 25-22, 32-34, 21-25, 15-7. Bailey Gates had 23 kills for the Golden Falcons, while teammate Delaney Miller had a double-double with 20 kills and 11 digs.

Southside swept Anderson 25-18, 25-18, 25-12. Hannah Wilhoite had 17 kills for Southside, and Rachel Curtis had 30 digs.

Union went five sets for a 22-25, 25-21, 25-21, 22-25, 15-11 win against Cambridge City. Courtney Kinnaman had 26 kills, and DeAnn Kauffman added 19 for the Rockets.

Monroe Central knocked off Liberty Christian 25-13, 25-15, 25-18. Zoee Kear had 13 aces, 19 assists and eight digs for the Golden Bears.

Heritage Hall swept Indiana Christian Academy 25-19, 25-10, 25-16. Jenelle McKee had 12 kills for the Patriots.

Delta’s Kaylee Nichols was named HHC co-offensive player of the week. She had 13 kills and one error on 28 attempts and had 11 digs in two victories.


Yorktown pulled away to a 13-0 win over Southside. Katelyn Stevens scored two goals for the Tigers, the only player to score multiple goals.

Jay County beat Delta 1-0. Gabbie Mann scored the lone goal, and Lily Rogers had four saves in the shutout. Delaney McCaslin made 12 saves for Delta.

Blackford shut out Peru 6-0. Mallory Norris scored three times and Allie Jennerjahn had two goals for the Bruins.


Wapahani topped Shenandoah 22-34. Drew Barber took first place for Wapahani with a time of 18:34.

Winchester defeated Union City 27-29. The Golden Falcons’ Randy Beer finished second with a time of 18:52, and teammate Brandon Edwards ran a 19:05 to finish third.


Shenandoah edged Wapahani 25-30. Haylee Cooper led Wapahani with a time of 23:11 to finish third.

Union City defeated Winchester 22-35. Winchester’s Sophia Wickersham was the individual winner with a time of 21:57.


Yorktown’s Chandler Carroll was named Hoosier Heritage Conference offensive player of the week after running for 220 yards and two scores to pace the Tigers’ 27-14 victory against Delta.
