Class 3A No. 2 Delta swept New Palestine 25-7, 25-16, 25-13. Teaghan Dishman had 19 digs for the Eagles, and Marissa Elam had 13 kills.

Heritage Hall swept Colonial Christian 25-14, 25-19, 25-16. Jenelle McKee had a double-double for the Patriots with 18 kills and 11 digs. Lyndsey Eddleman had 29 assists and 16 digs.

Yorktown swept Southside 25-6, 25-8, 25-8. Karli Acree had 10 kills for the Tigers. Rachel Curtis had 10 digs for the Rebels.

Central swept past Blackford 25-14, 25-17, 25-12. Micah Leavell had 16 kills in the win as the Bearcats piled on 18 aces.

Cowan swept Randolph Southern 25-11, 21-25, 25-18, 25-15. Kristina Flowers had 21 kills for the Blackhawks and Allie Curtis kicked in 11 kills, seven digs and 40 assists.

Daleville swept Blue River 23-25, 25-18, 25-21, 25-21. Lauren Wilson had 21 kills, five aces and 13 digs for the Broncos, and Meredith Witty and RuthAnne Shellabarger added 11 kills each.

Class A No. 1 Wes-Del swept a Mid-Eastern Conference match to move to 6-0 in the league. Four Warriors had at least six kills, led by Alysa Sutton‘s eight with 14 digs. Shaylee Stigleman had 12 digs.

Winchester defeated Tri-Eastern Conference opponent Northeastern, 25-13, 25-15, 25-20. Bailey Gates had two aces, nine digs, 13 kills and four blocks. Delaney Miller also came through for the Falcons with 13 big kills, two blocks.

Union swept Union City 25-11, 25-9, 25-13. The Rockets’ Courtney Kinnaman had 15 kills and six aces. Baylee Hartman had nine kills and Kelsey Zimmers had 10 in the loss.

Mississinewa swept Southside 25-17, 25-10, 25-3 on Monday.


Yorktown fell 5-0 to Pendleton Heights. Ryan Curts had 10 saves in the loss.

Central fell to Anderson 5-2. Andrew Dowdle had a goal and an assist for the Bearcats. Chase Clasby scored the other Bearcat goal.

Heritage Hall topped Colonial Christian 10-4. Alex Williams scored for goals for the Patriots.

Southside defeated Blackford 3-1. Austin Gunckel scored two goals for the Rebels.


Yorktown edged Pendelton Heights 2-1. The Tigers’ Katie Wolfert had a goal and an assist and Beverly Brittingham added a goal.

Blackford defeated Southside 11-0. Maggie Weeks-Foy, Sidney Taylor and Amber Underwood each had two goals for the Bruins.


Blackford lost 5-0 to Frankton. Craig Thiery at No. 1 singles was the only Bruin to win more than one game (he won four).

Burris swept Southside to even its record on the season. Jonathan Gerth picked up the win at No. 1 singles as the Owls lost only five games in the five straight-set wins.

Adams Central defeated Jay County 5-0.

Winchester beat Union City 5-0. Dustin Detro at No. 1 singles, Wes Martin at No. 3 singles and the doubles teams of Marcus Melton/Noah Addington and Arick Miller/Aaron Wallace all won 6-0, 6-0.

No. 11 Delta defeated Yorktown 4-1. The Eagles’ Nick Wilson and Jay Robillard won their No. 1 doubles match 6-1, 6-2.


Jay County shot a 212 to get past Southern Wells (229) and Blackford (221). The Patriots’ Katlin Petro shot a 46 to medal and Zoie Mann led the Bruins with a 49.

Yorktown closed out an undefeated regular season by shooting a 158 to top Delta (194). The Tigers’ Rachel Johnson shot a 5-under-par 31 to take medalist honors.

Wes-Del’s 208 wasn’t qute enough to beat Mississinewa (204). The Warriors’ Taylor Ward was medalist with a 47.
