Brianna Harper, Lindsey Armanini and Nicole Gaboda all scored for the Chiefs as they captured their first win of the season.

Katie Kavangagh scored twice and Dana Dasilva and Tia Dupont each had a pair of assists for the Villagers.

Avery Bramell had a goal and an assist as the Cougars rolled to their second victory of the year.
Boys’ soccer Millville 4, Ocean City 3
Terron Mitchell sent a shot into the box with roughly 17 minutes left in regulation, and the Red Raiders scored it on themselves to give the Thunderbolts a lead they wouldn’t relinquish. Nick Grotti tied the score in the second half on a penalty kick, his second goal of the game. Donald Daigle also scored for Millville, which got 11 saves from Sean Matias in net.
Buena 1, ACIT 1, 2OT
Eddie Sheppard, who turned 17 on Monday, headed in a cross from 10 yards out to tie the score at 1-1 with 90 seconds remaining in regulation. Jake Bleyhl made 12 saves to keep the Chiefs undefeated.
Girls’ tennis OLMA 5, Pleasantville 0
Winter Bruggeworth didn’t lose a game at first singles as the both she and the Villagers picked up their first win of the season. OLMA’s doubles pairings also won 6-0, 6-0.
Vineland 3, Absegami 2
Neeraja Thakur rallied from a set down to beat Emma Paugh, 2-6, 6-4, 6-4, at second singles to help the Fighting Clan stay unbeaten (4-0).
Bridgeton 4, Buena 1
Shakia Singleton captured her first win of the season, knocking off Victoria Battelini at first singles, as the Bulldogs also got wins at second singles and both doubles spots to earn their second straight win and get to .500.
Field hockey Buena 1, Holy Spirit 0
Nicole Mitchell scored off a corner four minutes into the second half to propel the Chiefs to victory. Goalie Elena Sneathen made seven saves for the shutout.
Cumberland 5, Palmyra 0
Alyssa Anderson scored a goal in each half to power the Colts to the win. Courtney D’Agostino, Jordana Ambros and Raykena Brown all scored as well, and Courtney Birdsall made three saves to keep Palmyra off the scoreboard.
Delsea 6, Winslow 0
Sophomore left wing Destini Parker had two goals and an assist to help keep the Crusaders unbeaten (2-0). Emily Mancini also had a pair of goals for Delsea.
