The Fighting Clan picked up their first victory of the season as Rosalyn Rivera and Nichara Condo both scored goals to beat the Bulldogs. Angelica You made eight saves to record the shutout.

Cumberland 3, G. Catholic 0

Jordana Ambros scored a goal in both the first and second halves and Alyssa Anderson added an insurance goal as the Colts opened their season with a win.

Delsea 8, Williamstown 1

Destini Parker and Lacy Spinelli finished with two goals apiece as the Crusaders opened the season with a victory. Lexi Brown had a goal and two assists and Devyn Parker had a goal and an assist. Emily Mancini and Alicia Serrano also scored a goal.

Boys’ soccer Vineland 7, W. Catholic 2

Jimmy Hague had two goals and two assists to lead the Fighting Clan to the season-opening win. Brandon Herrera and Amandeep Singh had a goal and an assist each while Ernie Scoma, Keith Santini and Steven Tobolski also found the back of the net.

Buena 2, Hammonton 0

Zayne Czeronka had his second-straight two-goal game to power the Chiefs to their third straight win. Goalie Jake Bleyhl had seven saves for the clean sheet.

Delsea 2, Kingsway 1

Christian Cortese tallied both of the Crusaders’ goals, including the game-winner with 20 seconds left in regulation. Nick Henry made 10 saves in net for the victory.

Schalick 3, G. Catholic 0

Avery Fralick scored two first-half goals to power the lead the Cougars to the victory. John Paul Caltabiano also scored and Ethan Francis had four saves for the clean sheet.

Girls’ soccer Vineland 4, W. Catholic 0

Sarah Patrignani netted a hat trick and Stephanie Alvarez also tallied a goal as the Fighting Clan scored four second-half goals to earn the win. Shelby Money made six stops for the shutout.

Millville 5, Cumberland 1

Nicki Read scored twice for the Thunderbolts and Hannah Daigle, Emily Daigle and Mallory Chamberlain also tallied goals as Millville rolled to the win.

Delsea 5, Winslow Twp. 0

The Crusaders scored five first-half goals, getting two apiece from Tori Miller and Kacey Scaffo, to earn the victory.

C. Christian 6, C. Academy 0

Jada Fields had a hat trick and also dished out two assists to lead her team to victory. Kaitlyn Riggins and Chyanne Smith had a goal and an assist each.

Girls’ tennis Bridgeton 3, L. Cape May 2

The Bulldogs earned their first victory of the season as Andrea Mendez prevailed at second singles and Bridgeton swept both doubles points.
