PRINCETON – Rocori’s Marja Sorensen shot a round of 80 to claim medalist honors at the Princeton Invite Friday afternoon.

Rocori won the team title with a score of 349. Big Lake was second with a 396.

Rocori’s Haley Krebs and Abby Moriarty tied for second with rounds of 88. Albany finished fourth with a 408. The Huskies’ Lexy Schneider had a round of 98.

HUTCHINSON – St. Cloud Tech’s Alexie Portz and Marren Pfannenstein tied for 11th place and St. Cloud Tech finished sixth in the team standings at the Hutchinson Showcase Invite.

Portz and Pfannenstein each shot an 85. Junior McKenzie Neisen shot a 76 and won the tiebreaker to earn first-place honors. Minnewaska senior Alexis Guggisberg also shot a 76 to finish in second place. Four players finished with a score of 77 to tie for third place.

St. Cloud Cathedral 5, Long Prairie-Grey Eagle 2

LONG PRAIRIE – Freshman Nathan Stracke came back to beat Mitch Welters in the No. 3 singles match and help St. Cloud Cathedral top Long Prairie-Grey Eagle in nonconference action.

Stracke won 3-6, 6-1, 6-3. It was the fourth time this season he lost the first set and won.

Mat Zniewski and Andy Windschitl won the No. 2 doubles match 6-0, 6-4 for the Crusaders (11-2).
