Boys’ soccer Cumberland 2, Deptford 1

Colts senior Tyler Skye tallied the eventual game-winning goal in the second half to lift Cumberland to victory. Goalkeeper Michael Raczenbek made six saves in the win.

Delsea 2, Clearview 2 (2OT)

Christian Cortese scored two first-half goals for Delsea, but the Pioneers rallied to tie the game in the second half with two goals of their own.

Girls’ soccer Kings Christian 1, Cumberland Christian 0

The Crusaders saw their 21-match unbeaten streak come to an end. The streak was the longest in school history.

Girls’ tennis Millville 3, Kingsway 2

Shannon Burns, filling in at third singles in her first varsity singles match, dropped Kingsway’s Edena Daniel, 6-1, 6-4, to help the Thunderbolts improve to .500 this season (3-3). Millville’s Rosalena Ficcaglia and Mallory Riechert, paired for the first time, won at second doubles, 6-3, 6-1.

Cumberland 5, Highland 0

Megan Maloney and Zoe Taylor each cruised to 6-0, 6-0 victories at first and second singles, respectively, as the Colts rolled to the win.

Vineland 5, Bridgeton 0

The Fighting Clan (5-0) put an end to the Bulldogs’ two-match winning streak, getting 6-0, 6-0 wins from Amanda Goff (first singles) and Sejal Menghani (second singles).
