Corrine Etter netted a hat trick, raising her season goal total to 73 and career total to 209, in a home loss to the Silver Knights. Sterling’s Tori Shinkowitz scored nine goals and finished her career as the second leading scorer in state history with 366.

Mainland 20,
OLMA 11

Senior Caitlyn Covella capped her incredible career with two goals and two assists as the Villagers closed out their season with a home loss during Tuesday’s Senior Day. Covella finished as the program’s all-time leading scorer with 174 goals and 247 points. She will be attending the University of Connecticut in the fall.

Buena 18,
ACIT 0

Sam Monfredo and Allie Collins combined on a one-hit shutout as the Chiefs moved to 22-4 with a win at ACIT. Janessa Rios had two hits, three runs scored and two RBIs while Lynnsie Collins and Carly Linus each had two hits and three RBIs for Buena.

Bridgeton 27,
Pleasantville 5

Adriana Price went 4-for-5 with a homer and seven RBIs as the Bulldogs won for the 12th time this season. Jenna Montana had four runs scored and Khyasia Floyd had 3 hits, 4 runs scored and 5 RBIs for Bridgeton (12-10).

Boys’ tennis
St. Augustine 3,
Atlantic City 2

Prep sophomore Louis Abenante won a convincing 6-2, 6-2 match over Brian Gallagher at first singles to lead the Hermits to victory. St. Augustine triumphed at the other two singles spots as well.
