Boys’ basketball
Schalick 68,
Glassboro 59

Brandon Ritter drilled seven 3-pointers en route to a season-high 23 points to lead the Cougars past Glassboro. The two teams were tied 33-33 at halftime, but Schalick controlled the final 16 minutes.

Melvin Allen added 15 for the Cougars while Rashaan Holloway (12) and DeAndre Solomon (11) also hit double-figures.

St. Augustine 58,
Oakcrest 30

Blake Rossell tallied a game-high 12 points and Mike Greenman and David Sullivan had 11 apiece as the Hermits toppled the Falcons. It was St. Augustine coach Paul Rodio’s 772nd win, leaving him three short of the South Jersey record, which is currently held by Camden’s Clarence Turner.

Mainland 60,
Vineland 47

Tanasia Russell scored 23 points, but she was outdone by the Mustangs’ Alex Raring, who netted a game-high 36 as Mainland came away from the victory. The Fighting Clan trailed 35-16 at the intermission.

OLMA 58,
Millville 36

The Villagers picked up their first win since defeating Cedar Creek in their opening meet of the season on Dec. 4.

Dana Fatcher picked up two individual first-places for OLMA, winning both the 200-yard freestyle (2:21.4) and 100 backstroke. Morgan Falasca won the 500 free and was a part of all three wining relays. Samantha Zarankin, Amber Raines, Kasey Harmon and Rylee Ballard all picked up victories as well.

Millville’s only win came in the 100 breaststroke, where Jamie Parent touched first in 1:22.05.

Cumberland 94,
Kingsway 81

The Colts held a narrow 60-56 advantage heading into the 200 free relay, but got a 1-2 finish to extend their lead to 72-58. The top relay consisted of Randi Jobes, Delwyn Davis, Rebecca Sipps and Abby DiJoseph.

Cumberland clinched the meet with a 1-3-4 finish in the following event, the 100 backstroke. Paige Peploe won (1:28.49) while Sarah Harkcm and Lea Olbrich came in behind her.

Kingsway 75

The Colts won all 12 events en route to their seventh victory of the season. Kyle Burlingame, Ryan Quick, Justin Seay and Nick Roberts each won two individual events and were part of two winning relays.
