On a night in which most prep teams were idle, the Climax-Scotts girls’ basketball team was busy recording a lopsided win on Monday.
The Panthers defeated host Litchfield 63-19 in Southern Central Athletic Association action.
Climax-Scotts was led by Stephanie Cochran with 20 points, including four 3-pointers, with two assists and four steals. Destiny Froberg also had a big night for the Panthers, recording a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds to go with four assists and three steals.
Also in the win for Climax-Scotts, Anna Lodes had 10 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals, Mallory Hollomon had six points, Taylor Piper had four points and five rebounds, Megan Smith had five assists and two rebounds and Fallon Froberg had four points and four rebounds.
The win helped Climax-Scotts improve to 8-3 overall, 8-1 in the SCAA.
