Prep roundup: Kreuser scores four as Rapids cruises to victory

By

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The top line for the Wisconsin Rapids boys hockey team turned in a dominating performance Tuesday night.

Luc Kreuser scored four goals and added and assist and Caleb Schroer chipped in with a pair of goals and three assists as the Raiders rolled to an 8-2 nonconference victory over Sauk Prairie at the Wood County Ice Center.

Matt Edwards, the final member of that line, added a goal and three assists, while Wisconsin Rapids limited Sauk Prairie to just seven shots.

“Our first line played unselfish and probably could have scored a lot more,” Raiders coach Pat McDonald said. “Luc was the beneficiary of four goals tonight, but they have been switching. And it was nice to play a lot of younger kids.”
