AMHERST – Tyler Biadasz scored 12 points and Hayden Blackford added 11, including three 3-pointers, to spark the Amherst boys basketball team to a 49-31 nonconference victory over Marion on Monday night.
The Falcons got off to a fast start, jumping off to a 31-13 lead at halftime, but stuggled to connect from the field in the second half.
“We came out really kind of clicking and then just petered out,” Amherst coach Scott Groholski said. “Don’t know if when we get up and then things don’t flow so well or what.”
