Hayley Staska’s goal in the 65th minute was the game-winner in St. Cloud Apollo’s 1-0 Central Lakes Conference victory against Sauk Rapids in a girls soccer game Monday at Michie Field.

Staska’s goal was unassisted and Anna Carrson made three saves for the Eagles (2-7-1 CLC, 2-11-1 overall).

Olivia Stockinger had four saves for the Storm.

ELK RIVER 1, ST. CLOUD TECH 0

Mackenzie Feeny made 10 saves to keep the Tigers in the game, but the stifled Tigers’ offense came up short in the nonconference match at Husky Stadium.

SARTELL 0, BRAINERD 0 (OT)

SARTELL – The Sabres put 15 shots on net but were denied a goal, settling for a Central Lakes Conference tie with the Warriors.

Allie Hemmesch made nine saves in shutting out Brainerd. The Sabres are (8-4-2).

SARTELL 5, BRAINERD 0

BRAINERD – Kyle Erickson reined in as the Sabres’ offensive prowess with a pair of goals, lifting Sartell to a one-sided Cental Lakes Conference victory.

Colin Johnson stopped three shots to tally his eighth shutout for Sartell (11-2-1).

ST. CLOUD TECH 2, ST. MICHAEL-ALBERTVILLE 2

Second-half goals by Moulid Keynan and Mohamud Aden evened the score for St. Cloud Tech two against nonconference opponent St. Michael-Albertville at Husky Stadium.

Tech is 10-2-3 overall on the season.

BECKER 3, NORTH BRANCH 1

BECKER – Zack Viau was a one man force for the Bulldogs scoring all three goals for his first career hat trick.

Viau is the team’s leading scorer this season with 12 goals. Becker improves to 6-7 overall.

LITTLE FALLS 3, PEQUOT LAKES 1

PEQUOT LAKES – The Flyers battled to a road win with Sierra Virnig recording 18 kills.

Kendra Pohman contributed an additional 15 kills as Little Falls rolled 25-22, 25-16, 24-26, 26-24 in the nonconference victory.

Royalton 3, Eden Valley-Watkins 0

ROYALTON – Emily Fussy inished with 10 kills as Royalton swept Eden Valley-Watkins in a nonconference match.

Game scores were 25-22, 25-18, 26-24.

Jenna Skajewski added 14 digs and Haley Olson had 23 assists for the Royals.

BBE 3, MACCRAY 0

Becca Gruber racked up 17 kills as the Jaguars stomped MACCRAY in a nonconference match.

FOLEY 5, OSAKIS 2

FOLEY – The Falcons won three straight singles matches before they surrendered a loss.

Hattie Scott earned Foley a point at No. 2 singles with a 6-2, 6-2 win.
