SAUK RAPIDS – Alexandria’s Anna Lee scored with 18 minutes left in the second half to give her team a 2-1 Central Lakes Conference win over Sauk Rapids Tuesday night.
The Cardinals led 1-0 at halftime before the Storm’s Marianna Blair tied the game 13 minutes after halftime.
Sauk Rapids’ Emma Krueger had her fourth assist in as many games.
Ashley Benoit had three saves in the first half for Sauk Rapids and Olivia Stockinger made six saves. The Storm (0-2-0 CLC, 0-3-1 overall) took 14 total shots.
ST. CLOUD CATHEDRAL 7, BECKER 1
BECKER – Senior captain Ellie Engel and sophomore Aiden McCormick each had two goals to lead the Crusaders to the Granite Ridge Conference win.
Maura Joul, Annie Johnson and Maddie Curtis each had one goal for the Crusaders (1-0, 2-1). Cathedral goalie Mo Schroeder had seven saves.
LITTLE FALLS 3, WALKER-H-A 0
WALKER – Mikel Vacek scored two goals for Little Falls in a nonconference shutout.
Kia Friel also scored for the Flyers (2-1).
Rachelle LeBlanc, Katie Yorek and Jordan Shuett had assists and Little Falls goalkeeper Lauren Thielman earned the shutout.
SARTELL 2, ST. CLOUD TECH 2 (2 OT)
SARTELL – Freshman Bria Ferns and senior captain Katie Stuttgen scored their first goals of the season for Sartell as the Sabres and Tigers battled to a Central Lakes Conference tie.
BRAINERD 1, ST. CLOUD APOLLO 0
BRAINERD – A late first-half goal doomed the Eagles as they were blanked by the Warriors in Central Lakes Conference play.
Cooper Gray stopped eight shots in goal for Apollo (1-2-1).
ALEXANDRIA 6, SAUK RAPIDS 1
ALEXANDRIA – The Cardinals led by five goals at halftime and took down Sauk Rapids.
Tristan Emery scored the lone goal for the Storm, assisted by Grant Marolf.
Dean Wick made five saves in the first half for Sauk Rapids (0-2 CLC, 0-3 overall) and Ethan Baker finished the second half with two saves.
LITTLE FALLS 12, WALKER-H-A 0
WALKER – Eighth-grader Sam Beam netted five goals and four other players finished with at least one goal as Little Falls marched over Walker-Hackensack-Akeley on the road.
Senior Tim Infinger tallied three goals, while fellow senior Jake Loukinen added two goals and three assists. Juniors Thomas Bell and Aaron Orth each added a goal for the Flyers.
Little Falls (2-0) outshot Walker-Hackensack-Akeley 34-4.
ST. CLOUD CATHEDRAL 6, ST. JOHN’S PREP 0
Cathedral senior forward Jordan Maetche had a hat trick in the first half alone at Husky Stadium as the Crusaders rolled to the win.
Junior midfielder Alex Peterson scored two goals in the second half and junior defender Johnathan Fleegel added another goal for Cathedral.
Senior goalie Phil Ruegemer had seven saves for the Crusaders.
Cathedral (3-0-1) will play Duluth Marshall this Saturday in a nonconference game.
