Emily Dorn scored with one second on the clock to give the St. Cloud Tech girls soccer team a 2-1 Central Lakes Conference win against Sartell Thursday at Husky Stadium.

Dorn’s goal came off a rebound in front of the net for her second goal of the game.

The Tigers improved to 5-5-2 overall.

Amanda Flemming scored Satell’s lone goal.

Brainerd 2, St. Cloud Apollo 0

BRAINERD – Anna Carlson finished with 10 saves in St. Cloud Apollo’s Central Lakes Conference loss to Brainerd.

The Warriors outshot the Eagles 12-4. Angela Lacy and Ally Smith scored Brainerd’s goals.

Alexandria 2, Sauk Rapids 0

ALEXANDRIA – Alexandria junior Anna Lee and sophomore Karsen Granning both scored within the game’s final seven minutes to seal the win against Sauk Rapids. in Central Lakes Conference play

Lee scored off a free kick and Granning’s score game with 10 seconds left to play.

The Storm (4-7-1) outshot the Cardinals 13-7 but none of the strikes hit home. Senior goalie Ashley Benoit finished with eight saves for Sauk Rapids.

Little Falls 1, St. Cloud Cathedral 0

Katie Yorek scored for Little Falls in the second half to lift the Flyers over St. Cloud Cathedral in a Granite Ridge Conference game at Whitney Park.

Cathedral goalkeeper Mo Schroeder had 11 saves.

Zimmerman 5, Becker 0

BECKER – Zimmerman blew past Becker in Granite Ridge Conference play.

Buffalo 5, Monticello 0

MONTICELLO – Buffalo rolled past Monticello to post a road victory in Mississippi 8 conference play.


Senior Roble Abader finished with two goals and three other players scored as St. Cloud Apollo handled Brainered at Michie Field.

Aidan Sim-Campos, Abdiaziz Handule and Abdiaziz Hilowo each scored for the Eagles. The shutout marked the third straight for St. Cloud Apollo and the seventh shutout in the last nine games for the Eagles.

Since Apollo’s 3-2 overtime win against rival St. Cloud Tech Sep. 17, the Eagles have outscored their opponents 15-0.

Sauk Rapids 3, Alexandria 1

SAUK RAPIDS – The Storm defeated Alexandria in CLC action.


COLLEGEVILLE – After taking a 2-1 lead at the half, Prep junior Andrew McGee scored the game-tying goal just after halftime to tie the game.

Cathedral was lead with goals from seniors John Fleegel and Jordan Maetche. Iker Gonzalez added the Johnnies’ other goal and junior goalie Andrew Bender had 10 saves.

Saint John’s Prep is now 1-2-1 in the Granite Ridge conference and 2-9-1 overall. Cathedral is now 8-2-2 overall.

Monticello 0, Buffalo 0

BUFFALO – Monticello and Buffalo played to a Mississippi 8 Conference tie.
