Little Chute 4, Freedom 1

At Freedom, the seventh-seeded Mustangs knocked off the No. 2 seed Irish as Shannon Huray took a three-hit shutout into the final inning before giving up a run.

Huray also hit a two-run double to deep left-center in the fourth inning to give the Mustangs a 2-0 lead.

At Winneconne, the Hawks scored in the top of the eighth on an RBI single by Torey Gostas that brought in Michaela Machurick to make it 4-3.

Winneconne got two runners on base in the bottom of the eighth before Erin Powers retired the next two hitters.

Lexi Fell tripled and Aubrey Millard added a double to help pace the Manawa offense.

The Wolves will face top-seeded Laona/Wabeno on Tuesday in a regional semifinal.

Lamers drove in three runs for East, which finishes 15-3 in the FVA. Oshkosh West swept Fond du Lac on Thursday to improve to 15-2 in the conference and the Wildcats can win the FVA title outright today with a win against Kimberly.
