Kelsey Krueger had two runs and that would be all the Reedsville softball team needed in a 2-1 home win over Mishicot on Monday.
Krueger started the Panthers’ scoring in the third inning when she reached base on an error and later scored on an error with two outs.
Then, in the fifth inning, Krueger led off with a double and moved to third on a Nichole Mangin sacrifice bunt. Lauren Holschbach then hit a sacrifice fly to give Reedsville the final margin of victory.
Morgan Castro scored Mishicot’s lone run as she hit a single in the fifth inning and Lindsey Bries hit a single to drive her home.
Chloe Sebo earned the complete-game win, allowing no earned runs on five hits and one walk with four strikeouts. Bries took the complete-game loss, allowing one earned run on four hits and one walk with nine strikeouts.
Roncalli 3, St. Mary Central 2 (8)
It took extra innings but Katy Orth’s single scored pinch-runner Erin Jagemann with the winning run as the Jets prevailed over the Zephyrs in eight innings.
Christine Roberts earned the win for Roncalli while pacing the Jets offense by going 2-for-3 with a double, two steals and a run scored. She finished with the complete-game win allowing two runs — one earned — on two hits while striking out five and walking a pair.
Also for Roncalli, Tiffany Abts (1-for-4) drove in another of the Jets runs.
Roncalli led 2-0 after four innings before St. Mary’s scored one each in the sixth and seventh to force extras before Orth’s walk-off single.
Wrightstown 10, Manitowoc Lutheran 0
The host Lancers were limited to three hits as Kaitlin Radue led Lutheran by going 2-for-3 while MacKayla Menges (1-for-3) has the other hit.
Jordan Menges took the loss, pitching all seven innings allowing 10 runs — nine earned — on 14 hits with five strikeouts and three walks.
Plymouth 16, Kiel 6 (six innings)
At Plymouth, Kiel allowed an eight-run fourth inning for the loss.
Brooke Goehring pitched a complete game for the loss, allowing six earned runs on 14 hits and eight walks with four strikeouts.
Goehring was 2-for-3 at the plate while teammate Katie Kracht was 2-for-3 with a double, a home run and three RBI.
Also for the Raiders, Ally Bonde was 2-for-3 with a double.
Manitowoc Lincoln 19, Green Bay West 1
