The Two Rivers softball team dropped both games of a double header against visiting Sheboygan Falls on Tuesday, losing Game 1 19-1 and Game 2 8-1.
Adina Kasimoff earned the win for Falls in Game 1, giving up one run on two hits as the Falcons scored 10 runs in the first inning to provide her with all the run support she’d need.
Game 2 saw Ashley Drossel surrender three hits and one run for the win for Falls.
Individual stats for Two Rivers were not provided to the Herald Times Reporter as of press deadline.
LATE SATURDAY Sheboygan North 13-17, Manitowoc Lincoln 3-1
In Game 1 of the road doubleheader Lincoln gave up 12 runs in the first four innings for the loss.
The Ships led 1-0 at the top of the first inning and scored their final two runs in the fifth inning on a two-run home run by Lainey Braun.
Kaitlin Sukowaty took the loss as she pitched six innings and allowed 18 hits, five walks with four strikeouts.
Offensively for Lincoln Sam Kaufman was 3-for-3 while Raissa Reynolds was 2-for-3 with a walk.
In Game 2, Lincoln’s only run came in the bottom of the fourth inning.
Sukowaty pitched 21/3 innings of relief and allowed three runs on six hits with three strikeouts while Hannah Spindler took the loss after 21/3 innings and allowing 14 runs on 11 hits with five walks and one strikeout.
Braun went 2-for-2 while Kaufman was also 2-for-2.
