ALEXANDRIA – Sartell won the Central Lakes Conference girls swimming and diving championship Saturday afternoon with 481 points.

Sartell’s championship was backed by a first-place finish in the 200 medley relay (1:53.19). The team consisted of Marena Kouba, Lindsey Martens, Anna Ellis and Jennifer Thompson.

In addition, Paige Pawlenty won the 200 freestyle (2:01.42) and Gabby Hagen was first in the 200 individual medley (2:19.51) for the Sabres.

Team scores: 1. Sartell 481; 2. Brainerd 472.5; 3. Willmar 286.5; 4. Alexandria 252; 5. St. Cloud Tech 215; 6. Fergus Falls 186; 7. Sauk Rapids 173.5; 8. Rocori 147; 9. St. Cloud Apollo 111.5.

Granite Ridge

SARTELL – Freshman Kasey Milstroh and eighth-grader Vanessa Midas each tallied two individual first-place finishes and were part of two winning relay teams for Foley as the Falcons won the Granite Ridge Conference championship.

Milstroh won the 50 freestyle in 24.92 and the 100 freestyle in 54.42. Midas won the 100 breaststroke in 1:12.66 and the 200 IM in 2:26.50. Both were part of the winning 200 relay team with Holly Milejczak and Maya Murphy and the 400 freestyle with Murphy and Jess Milstroh.

The 400 freestyle team finished in 3:56.02 while the 200 freestyle relay team notched a time of 1:53.30.

Another multiple individual event winner was Becker sophomore Andrea Molus. Molus won the 200 freestyle (2:07.88) and the 500 freestyle (5:43.06) to pace the Bulldogs.
