The Kiel volleyball team posted a 4-1 record en route to a first place finish at the Cedar Grove-Belgium Invitational.
The Raiders downed Kewaskum (25-21, 25-17), Saint Francis (25-15, 26-24), Kohler (25-10, 25-11), and Cedar Grove-Belgium (25-15, 25-15) and fell to Columbus by scores of 22-25, 25-5, 7-15 in the round robin tournament.
Madeline Dahmer posted 27 kills for the Raiders on the day and Brenna Spencer recorded 18 aces.
With a 2-2 record on the day, Manitowoc Lutheran placed third in its pool at the Oostburg Invitational.
The Lancers downed Valders (25-16, 25-18) and North Fond du Lac (25-18, 25-16), but came up short against Sheboygan Falls (25-19, 25-21) and Cedarburg, a team which is currently listed as honorable mention in Division 1 in the latest Wisconsin Volleyball Coaches Association rankings (20-25, 25-23, 12-15).
MacKayla Menges finished with 37 kills on the day for the Lancers, while Arianna Neumeyer tallied 48 assists.
Two Rivers went 1-3 across its four matches.
After falling to Denmark (25-11, 25-13) and Oshkosh Lourdes (25-16, 25-7), the Raiders rebounded with a 25-17, 25-18 win over Algoma.
Two Rivers ended the day with a 25-11. 25-11 loss to host Oostburg.
Gabby Heinen had 31 assists in four matches for Two Rivers,
Alexi Walesh added 13 kills for the Raiders.
Valders finished 1-3 in its pool.
