Prep volleyball roundup: Reedsville completes comeback against Brillion

The Reedsville volleyball team overcame an early deficit to defeat visiting Brillion on Tuesday in five games 3-2.

The Panthers dropped the first two games 19-25 and 17-25 before rallying to win three straight 25-21, 25-23 and 15-10.

Bailey Ebben led Reedsville with 11 points and eight digs while teammates Hannah Roffers and Riley Grimm chipped in a team-high six blocks and six assists, respectively.

Reedsville (8-13, 2-5 Olympian Conference) visits Hilbert on Thursday.

Wrightstown 3, Man. Lutheran 1

Both the Lancers and No. 7 ranked in Division 2 Tigers were undefeated in OC play entering the meeting, with host Wrightstown and edging Lutheran in four games 25-16, 26-24, 23-25, 25-20.

The Lancers (14-13, 6-1 OC) were led by Kaitlin Radue’s 28 digs while teammates Arianna Neumeyer (21 kills) and Heidi Moldenhauer (16 assists) also paced the Lancers in their respective categories.

Lutheran visits Mishicot on Thursday.

St. Mary Central 3, Valders 0

The host Vikings were swept 29-27, 25-15 and 25-19 with Brittany Erickson and Emily Brennen each having a team-high 11 assists in the losing effort for Valders.

Also for the Vikings, Tara Emme paced Valders with eight kills and seven blocks.

Valders (9-19, 2-6 OC) visits Brillion on Thursday.

Chilton 3, Mishicot 0

The visiting Indians were swept by the Tigers 25-15, 25-13, 25-23.

Kaitlyn Wiegert paced Mishicot (2-14, 0-6 OC) with 10 assists with teammates Shayla Luckow and Nicole Trost chipping in a team-high eight kills and nine digs, respectively.

Mishicot hosts Manitowoc Lutheran Thursday.
