Whitewater Invitational: Mayville joined 41 other teams at the annual Mid-States Classic at UW-Whitewater over the weekend.

The Cardinals brought 11 wrestlers to the event, but only three made it to Saturday. Dakota Danner (132 pounds), Tony Giese (182) and Kody Priesgen (220) are each made it to the fourth consolation round, where they each lost, falling one win shy of making the top-7 podium.

All three went 3-2 at the tournament.
