A fast start lifted visiting Reedsville over Valders 42-31 in an Olympian Conference dual meet Thursday night.

The Panthers claimed five of the first six matches, including pins from Elliot Ebert (170), Tyler Schuh (195), and Jordan Brandt (285) to jump out to a 30-6 lead in the early going.

Luke Oltmanns did his best to get Valders back on track with a 13-0 win over Andy Spatchek at 113 pounds, but Reedsville bounced right back, claiming three of the next four matches.

The Vikings finished off the night by winning the final three matches.

The Panthers will compete at the Kiel Multi-Duals today, while Valders travels to the Kaukauna Tournament.

Two Rivers 58, Kewaskum 12

Two Rivers opened up the season with a 58-12 win over visiting Kewaskum in an Eastern Wisconsin Conference dual meet, Thursday night.

The Raiders found themselves trailing 3-0 after the opening match, but Cody Rebarchek quickly remedied the situation with an 8-3 win over Kewaskum’s Max Maertz at 170 pounds, knotting the match at 3-3.

Kewaskum temporarily regained the lead after receiving a forfeit at 182, but Bobby Geiger tied the match with a pin at 195.

From there, it was all Raiders as the home team rattled off a stretch of four consecutive pins after Geiger won by fall.

Two Rivers will compete in the Red Raider Duals in Pulaski today.
