Quarterfinal site moved to Lansing Eastern

The site of the Class D boys basketball quarterfinal game at 7 p.m. on Tuesday between Lansing Christian (21-3) and Beal City (17-7) has been moved to Lansing Eastern’s Don Johnson Fieldhouse.

The Class A quarterfinal originally scheduled to be played at Eastern between Grand Rapids Christian (19-6) and Muskegon (19-6) has been moved to Rockford.

In Class C, Laingsburg (22-2) is still scheduled to face Beaverton (22-2) at Delta College of University Center near Bay City. With a win, the Wolfpack would face either Negaunee (23-1) or Maple City Glen Lake (23-2) in a 2:50 p.m. Thursday semifinal at Michigan State’s Breslin Center. Detroit Consortium (20-3), Flint Beecher (24-1), Schoolcraft (23-2) and Monroe St. Mary Catholic (22-2) will meet in quarterfinals and the 1 p.m. Thursday semifinal for the other spot in the 4:30 p.m. Class C final on Saturday, March 23.

With a win in its quarterfinal, Lansing Christian would meet either Climax-Scotts (24-1) or Southfield Christian (20-4) in a 7:50 p.m. Thursday semifinal at Breslin. Cedarville (22-1), Powers North Central (22-3), Wyoming Tri-Unity Christian (23-2) and Frankfort (20-5) will battle in quarterfinals and the 6 p.m. Thursday semifinal for the other spot in the 10 a.m. Class D final on Saturday, March 23
