Despite some high finishes, the Coshocton girls and boys teams finished at the back of the pack in their home tri-meet with Rosecrans and New Philadelphia on Wednesday.

The boys finished third with 48 points, behind New Philadelphia (71) and Rosecrans (54). The girls finished second with 39 points after facing just Rosecrans (76).

Saquore Harris finished first in the long jump (18-63/4), Kyle Corder won the pole vault (10-6), and the team of Corder, Harris, Devon Van Atta, and Donald Stiteler captured the 400 relay (46.0) for the boys.

Runner-up finishes included Harris in the 100 (11.53), Nick Kirkpatrick and Kyle Bergeron in the pole vault (10-0), Nathan Lain in the 1,600 (4:59.7) and the 1,600 and 3,200 relays.

Lauren Hire won the long jump (11-4), Georgia Brown captured the pole vault (7-0), Mary Skelton was first in the 3,200 (15:46); Casey Fortney won the 800 (2:31.7) and Nicki Carling finished first in the 100 (13.2).

Carling also had a runner-up finish in the 200 (28.32) and Allie Dickerson added a second in the 3,200 (16:42.2).
