After a scoreless first half, Coshocton (11-0-2) exploded for six goals in the second half to pick up a 6-0 win Tuesday against visiting Rosecrans (5-7-2) in East Central Ohio League boys soccer play at Kids America.
Ian Hartley found a streaking Colton Jordan at the 38:14 mark of the second half to get the Redskins on the board. Two minutes later, Hartley made it 2-0 after converting a penalty kick.
Conner Roahrig finished a cross from Wilmer Marquez, Alan Marquez scored on a cross from Alex Wheeler, Hartley had a goal off a pass from Stuart Dunlap and Roahrig capped the scoring at the 16-minute mark.
Rosecrans goalkeeper Keagan McLaughlin had 11 saves, and Coshocton goalies Marc Smith and Joey Jarvis finished with two saves.
The Redskins held a 27-4 edge in shots and recorded their ninth shutout of the season.
