Riverdale volleyball falls in Bulldog Bash final

For the third consecutive year, the Riverdale volleyball team reached the Smyrna Bulldog Bash championship match.

The Lady Warriors fell to Bartlett 25-23, 19-25, 15-12 in the finals Saturday night.

Riverdale defeated Portland, Nashville Christian, Brentwood Academy, Lipscomb Academy and Dickson County (twice) on its path to the championship match.

Setter Kirsten Inman, handed out 125 assists for the tournament

Ashleigh Lozier lead the Warriors with 48 service points followed by Rachel Vehr with 43 and Kirsten Inman with 38. Vehr lead the Warriors with 16 ace serves followed Lozier and Inman with 11 each.

The Lady Warriors were lead in kills by Lozier with 30, followed by Dakyla Wells with 28 and Vehr and Alicia McClellan with 24 each. McClellan lead the Warriors in blocks with 18. Beth Sullivan had 31 digs for the Tournament.
