Louis Guardiola of Fremont Ross and Clyde’s Olivia Hammons finished first in their respective Division I-II races at Lakota’s Myron Cline Invitational.

Guardiola finished in 15 minutes, 56.24 seconds as the Little Giants won the event. Tyler Edmonds (16:28.53) was fifth, Owen Starkwether 10th, Ryan Schaffer 11th and Brantleigh Bunting 22nd.

Madison Scagnetti was second (19:44.72), Lauren Turner fifth (19:59.99), Michaela Fox sixth (20:00.71), Liz Ish 14th, Hannah Weasner 19th and Whitney Schalk 21st as Bellevue finished first among the girls.

“Overall, we had a great day,” Bellevue coach Lee Booze said. “The kids really like coming here, the course is very fast and the competition is good. Add to that perfect running weather and it helped nearly everyone turn in some season and career best times. Although we have some invites and tri-meets coming up in the next few weeks, our real focus now is on training and getting ready for the league and districts meets.”

Cariss Reese was second in the girls Division III race at 19:47.74 as Lakota finished 10th.

Austin Guthrie was sixth and Cory Huddleston ninth as Bellevue’s boys finished fifth.

Tyler Sievert was fourth (16:13.23), Jake Wistinghausen 13th and Bryan Budere 20th as Oak Harbor finished fourth.

Austin Gale was 31st as Clyde finished eighth.

Hammons finished at 19:44.31 and Chloe Ruttschaw was 23rd as the Fliers were sixth.

Valerie Bixler was fourth (19:55.41), Cassidi Lovell ninth (20:14.11), Faye Sloma 17th and Kim Hetrick 18th as the Little Giants’ girls finished third.

Trinity Gephart was eighth in a career-best 20:12.67 and Taylor Dunn 25th as Oak Harbor finished fifth.

Ryan Avers (17:02.62) was fourth, Jordan Buck 10th, Joey McTague 14th and Grant Matwiejczyk 29th as Woodmore’s boys finished the Division III race as runner-up.

Kris Lyons was eighth (17:15.19) as Margaretta finished 14th.

Brad Bannister was 15th, Tito Lopez 20th and Donald Young 26th as Old Fort finished fourth.

Luke Baker was 23rd as Lakota finished 10th.

Nate Rosengarten was 24th as St. Joseph Central Catholic finished 13th.

Kayla Garza was eighth (20:44.09) and Jackie Becker 27th for Old Fort’s girls.

Courtney Burner was ninth (20:55.25) and Samantha Sedlemeier 26th for Woodmore’s girls.

Brooke Foster was 23rd as SJCC finished ninth.

Jenna Gasser was 37th for Margaretta.
