The Boonton High School girls soccer team picked up its first win of the season with a 2-0 victory over St. Elizabeth on Tuesday in an Independence Division matchup.

Junior forward Sihana Asani and sophomore forward Rhiannon Groll scored for the Bombers (1-8). Junior goalie Payton Bogatch made two saves for the shutout. For the Panthers (2-7-1), senior goalie Gianna Falcone made 24 saves.

Morristown-Beard 2, Madison 0: Junior defender Kristy Cotter had a goal and an assist to lead the Crimson (2-6). Junior midfielder Gianna Bustamante also scored. Goalie Elizabeth Sengle made 11 saves for the shutout.

Villa Walsh 0, Hanover Park 0 (OT): Juniors Lauren Longo and Colleen Brennan combined for six saves for the Vikings (6-3-1). Senior goalie Lizzie Kiernan made five saves for the Hornets (5-2-1).

Jefferson 2, Lenape Valley 1: Junior forward Lea Kasica and senior forward Christine Latta scored for the Falcons (5-3-1). Ashley Ryan had the goal for the Patriots (4-3).

Kinnelon 8, Butler 0: Senior forward Ingrid DiClemente had a hat trick and two assists to lead the Colts (6-3). Junior midfielder Casey Gray had two goals and two assists. Sophomore midfielder Ida DiClemente chipped in a goal and two assists. Sophomore goalie Emily Kapr made two saves for the shutout.

Hackettstown 2, Kittatinny 0: Senior midfielder Lindsay Hutton had both goals for the Tigers (5-3-1). Senior midfielder Julianne Martone and Larisa Cifric each had an assist. Sophomore goalie Precsilla Acuria made four saves for the shutout.

North Warren 2, Wallkill Valley 1: Melissa Diogene and Kelsey Yarzab each had a goal for the Tigers (6-2-1). Freshman forward Tori Young and Brianna Jones had assists. For the Rangers (2-5-1), sophomore forward Brielle Hilbert scored.

Morris Tech 1, Somerset Tech 0: Junior midfielder Kim Kostrowski scored the game-winner in the second half for the Devils (9-1). Sophomore forward Brianna Sparano had the assist. Junior goalie Marissa Lansing made 10 saves for her seventh shutout.

Whippany Park 2, Dover 0: Freshman forward Silvana Poulter and junior defender Danielle Cozzarelli each had a goal for the Wildcats (6-3) on Monday. Junior goalie Megan Gallagher made four saves for the shutout.

Randolph 4, Parsippany Hills 3 (2OT): Sophomore forward Gillian McConnell scored the game-winning goal for the Rams (6-2) on Monday night. Junior forward Katja Brackelmanns scored twice and senior midfielder Anna Conklin chipped in a goal.

Sparta 3, Morris Knolls 2: Freshman midfielder Kelly Carolan, senior forward Tina Butera and senior defender Kristy LeVan each had a goal to lead the Spartans (4-3-1) on Monday. Junior forward Jamie Delaney had two assists. For the Golden Eagles (5-3-2), senior forward Isabel Katz scored twice.

St. Elizabeth 6, Lacordaire 1: Junior forward Matti Stewart scored twice to lead the Panthers (2-6-1) on Monday. Senior Gianna Falcone had a goal and two assists. Senior defender Allie Armelino and sophomore defender Danielle Mariano each had a goal and an assist.

Boys Soccer

Mountain Lakes 2, Parsippany 0: Senior midfielder Kyle Wright scored both Lakers goals. Senior Jason Wolpov made five saves for his sixth shutout (8-0) and fourth in a row.

Dover 2, Whippany Park 0: Sophomore Bryan Delgado led Dover (7-1-1) with a goal and an assist. Senior Ryan Charyshyn made eight saves for his second solo shutout.

Pequannock 4, Morris Catholic 2: Senior defender Aaron Diehl scored twice as Pequannock (6-1-1) came back from an early two-goal deficit. Bryan Medina and Andrew Malkinski scored for Morris Catholic in the first 13 minutes of the match.

Newton 5, Hopatcong 3: Ryan Cronin and Leo Recalde each scored twice and added an assist for Newton (8-0-1). Junior midfielder Vaughn Cusano of Hopatcong (4-6) tallied twice.

Field Hockey

Montville 2, Vernon 1: Senior forwards Alyssa Gettel and Valerie Speer each had a goal for the Mustangs (6-3). Senior midfielder Olivia Dickert had an assist and sophomore goalie Sarah Karback made 12 saves.

High Point 3, Morris Knolls 0: Maddie Smith, Carly Satter and Brittany DeLima all scored for the Wildcats (8-0-1). Alexis Ambrosino had an assist. Goalie Autumn Smith made seven saves for her seventh shutout of the season.

Newton 2, Jefferson 2 (OT): Senior forward Katherine Kellenberger had both goals for the Braves on Monday. Freshman Brianna Schumann had an assist. For the Falcons, sophomore midfielder Kendra Nolan and senior forward Danielle Pini scored. Junior midfielder Avery Nicolosi had an assist.
