Fox Valley Lutheran 2-1, Winnebago Lutheran 1-0
At Fond du Lac, the Foxes (11-7) came out on top in a pair of dramatic final innings in sweeping the Vikings (10-5)
Fox Valley Lutheran led 2-1 in the first game when Winnebago Lutheran loaded the bases with one out in the bottom of the seventh. Jason Malkowski relieved Brendan Stoffel and got a ground ball out at the plate and a ground ball out at third.
Malkowski also homered in the first inning and scored in the fifth on a single by Stoffel.
In the second game, which the coaches agreed in advance to limit to five innings, the Foxes went up 1-0 in the fifth when Wyatt Wert singled Alec Aubry in from second with two outs.
The Vikings put runners on first and second with two outs in the bottom of the inning and Lincoln Schroeder singled to center, but Brock Fuhrmann threw out August Wright, who was trying to score from second, at home to end the game.

At Freedom, the Irish got the sweep of the nonconference opponents to improve to 8-8.
Brandon Desotell and Mike Van Groll got wins for the Irish.
Ben Lamers had a triple and three RBI in win against Crivitz and was two-for-four against Gibraltar.
Aaron Schadrie belted a two-run home run in the fifth against Gibraltar and Tyler Behle had a bases-clearing triple.

At Waupaca, the Comets took sole control of the Eastern Valley with the sweep of the Mustangs at home.
Joe Nelson and Josh Houtman hurled complete game victories for Waupaca (12-4, 10-2), with Nelson striking out five in the first game and Houtman six in the second.
Beau Ash was three-for-three with a home run and four RBI in the first game and also had a two-run double in the second game.Jake Reedy also had a home run in the second game.

At Appleton, the Hawks took advantage of four walks and four singles in the second inning to score six runs in the win over the Truckers.
Ben Jensen got the win for the Hawks (7-6, 6-5), striking out six in a complete game. All his runs were unearned.

Hortonville 2-5, West De Pere 3-0
At Hortonville, Dan Borek pitched a four-hit shutout in the second game with four strikeouts to help Hortonville gain a split.
John Boushley had two hits, including a double, and two RBI in the win for the Polar Bears (13-2).
West De Pere scored three runs in the top of the sixth to rally in the opener. Corey Steier’s three-run double with two outs was the big hit.
Hortonville is 11-1 in the Bay and leads West De Pere (9-3) by two games in the standings with four games to go.

At Town of Menasha, the Zephyrs drew the split with the Vikings with Caleb Davidson getting the win in the second game and also finishing two-for-three from the plate.
Nathan Jack added a home run and two RBI for the Zephyrs with Griffin Jack finishing two-for-two with 2 RBI. Austin Welch had three hits in the first game for St. Mary Central.
