Toms River South senior Macy Scott scored eight goals including the 200th of her career as the Indians girls lacrosse team defeated Southern, 20-8, in a Class A South game on Tuesday afternoon.

Scott scored five goals in the first half, and also had two assists. She became the second player in school’s history to reach the mark alongside Meredith Kalinowski who became the first in 2011.

After leading 8-4 at halftime, the Indians (7-1, 6-0) scored 12 more goals in the second half for a landslide victory. Junior Victoria Alvarez scored four goals. Addy Pollioni, Noelle Shirey, and Nina Shirey each scored two goals for the Indians.

Marina Felmly led the Rams (3-4, 3-4) with three goals, and Lia Stango scored two goals. Goalie Rianna Martorano made 14 saves in the net.

CENTRAL 10, LACEY 7: Amanda Carolan scored three of her game-high five goals to lead the Golden Eagles (8-1, 7-1) past the Lions (9-1, 7-1) in a Class B South game.

Lauren Salemme scored three goals, and had one assist. Maura Weaver and Holly Brewster each added two goals for the Lions.

TR EAST 13, BRICK 10: Senior Cassidy Galler scored five goals, and Nicolette Faragalli scored three goals as the Raiders (5-3, 5-3) defeated the Dragons (0-6, 0-6) in a Class A South game.

After the score was tied at halftime, the Raiders outscored the Dragons 7-4 in the second half for their fifth victory of the season. Angie Baricko and Brittany Hammel each scored two goals for the Raiders. Kara McGuire scored three goals and had one assist for the Dragons.

MANCHESTER 13, PINELANDS 11: Kelli Seripi scored five goals in the second half as the Hawks (4-5, 2-5) rallied past the Wildcats (4-6, 2-6) in a Class B South game.

After losing 6-2 at halftime, the Hawks scored 11 goals in the second half for the comeback victory. Anissia Fucci and Sydney Kacek each tallied three goals each. Ali Jerbert scored a game-high eight goals and had one assist for Pinelands.

BARNEGAT 11, JACKSON LIB. 8: Nicole Federovitch scored six goals and had two assists as the Bengals (4-5, 2-4) defeated the Lions (3-4, 3-4) in a Class B South game.

Jackson Liberty’s Nicole Mickendrow scored all four of her goals in the second half, and had two assists.

IN BOYS VOLLEYBALL

LACEY 2, TOMS RIVER NORTH 1: Jacob Iovino had 18 assists, Zachary Lynne had 15 Digs and Joseph Gaboury had nine kills as the Mariners (6-5, 4-3) defeated the Lions (2-8, 2-6) in a Class A South match. Lacey’s Kyle D’Autorio had two kills, five digs and nine blocks and Matt McGovern had four kills and 13 blocks.

MARLBORO 2, COLTS NECK 0: Brandon D’Lima had 12 kills, 10 digs and Dyland O’Handley added 23 assists and six digs as the Mustangs (5-6, 5-4) defeated the Cougars (5-7, 1-6) in a Class A North match. Colts Neck’s Jack Lind had seven digs and four kills and Hongliang Zhang had seven kills, two aces and two digs.

RED BANK CATHOLIC 2, BARNEGAT 0: Kevin Brennan had four kills and six aces and Chris Calandrillo had two digs and five assists for the Caseys (6-3, 6-1) in a Class A Central meet. Barnegat’s Frank Buckley had four kills and Bobby Erickson had 12 assists.
