Outlook: Bower shared sectional medalist honors last season, and Krauss also returns from the postseason lineup. Schneider said Brettnacher, Newton and Skiles are already shooting in the 40s for nine holes and will compete for varsity positions.

Outlook: Barrick, Jones, Beeler and Grigsby all return from last season’s sectional lineup. The Bronchos are pursuing their first regional berth since 2010.

Outlook: The bulk of last year’s lineup returns, and that experienced lineup hopes to make a postseason push. Coverdale is a four-year varsity golfer and the lone senior.

Outlook: Mittal is the lone golfer back from last season’s sectional lineup and takes over the No. 1 spot. Ambrose, formerly West Lafayette’s junior high coach and a longtime coach in New York, expects as many as nine other golfers to challenge for a varsity spot.
Around the area
Cory Allen, Joe Couch and Lane Richey all return from last year’s sectional lineup for Benton Central, and three others return who averaged 93 or better last season.
Austin Miller and Kaleb Harness return for a Rossville squad that broke through for sectional contention last season.
Twin Lakes seniors Austin Price and Garrett Duhnovsky will provide veteran leadership for a young team.
