Nick Peters and Connor Schodorf scored second-half goals to help St. Mary Central upend Green Bay NEW Lutheran 2-1 on Monday in Green Bay.

Ethan Brew finisheed with 10 saves for the Zephyrs.

“This was a hard-fought battle in very difficult weather between two really huge rivals,” SMC coach Gary Kruger said. “I was really proud of my guys the way they kept working and kept working and never gave up. The offense really works well together and the defense did its job.

“Ethan Brew made a bunch of key saves to seal this win.”
