A pair of Rutherford County former standout prep football players have been chosen in the fourth and fifth rounds of the NFL Draft.
Former La Vergne wide receiver Quinton Patton was chosen as the 31st pick of the fourth round (128th overall) to the San Francisco 49ers.
Former Siegel High lineman Montori Hughes was picked with the sixth pick of the fifth round (139th overall) to the Indianapolis Colts.
Patton (6-0, 204) caught 104 passes for 1,329 yards and had 13 touchdowns for Louisiana Tech. Hughes (6-4, 329) 18 tackles at UT-Martin in 2012.
