SPENCER – Spencer beat Columbus Catholic for a second straight night, this time by a 12-2 score.

Spencer scored 30 runs in the two games.

Bobby Pilz picked up the win in both games. On Wednesday, Alex Brostowitz had two hits, two walks and three RBI. Spencer is 6-2 overall.

MARSHFIELD – Eric Daniel doubled home the winning run in the sixth inning as the Lumberjacks edged got their first win in the Wisconsin Valley Conference this spring.

Walter Grau struck out three and walked one in a complete-game effort.

Grau got out of a bases-loaded jam in the sixth.

Bo Howard went 3 for 3 with a double and RBI to lead the Tigers, who tied the game at 3-3 with a three-run fourth.
