For the second time in a week, Springs shut down Lomira’s offense in a Flyway win.

Melanie Schneider led Springs (16-4, 10-2) with 12 points, three assists and three steals. Kelli Schrauth added nine points and six rebounds. Michaela Luedtke scored 10 points for the Lions, who were held to 22 points against Springs on Tuesday.

“Offensively we got off to a slow start, but defensively starting in the second quarter we picked up the intensity,” said Springs coach Mitch Redig. “We did a much better job getting out to their shooters.”
