Sheboygan Falls 36
The Ledgers wasted no time jumping on visiting Sheboygan Falls, outscoring the Falcons 18-7 in the first quarter and holding a 16-point halftime lead.
“The credit goes to the girls. They came out with great effort,” said Springs coach Mitch Redig. “We hit all three of our 3s in the first quarter so we really used that production early on and used our defense to cause trouble as well.”
Melanie Schneider had two of those triples and finished with 10 points. Molly Krueger had four assists for Springs (8-2), which got another dominant effort from Kelli Schrauth.
The sophomore forward scored 28 points, four from her school record, and she grabbed 11 rebounds and five steals.
