Brock Moore won the long jump and tied the school record in the 100 at 11 seconds to finish second as Port Clinton’s boys track team beat Hopewell-Loudon, St. Joseph Central Catholic and Cardinal Stritch.
“Brock continues to be our leader,” Redskins coach Seth Benner said.
Moore’s jump of 21-7 in the long jump is also a personal best.
Robert Beck won the discus, David Leone the 3,200 and Justyn Holmes the 200 for Port Clinton. Cody Smith won the shot put, and Jonathon Youngbar the high jump and 400.
Port Clinton’s boys won the 4X100 relay.
Morissa Mallory won the shot put, Ashtyn Baney the long jump and Kiya Brown the high jump as Port Clinton’s girls were also first. Abbi Pitts won the 800 and the Redskins won the 4X800 relay.
“Our girls did a good job (Thursday),” Benner said. “We still need some more from our sprinters.”
