The St. Philip volleyball team defeated Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes 3-0 (25-12, 25-22, 25-19) on Saturday at Kellogg Arena to earn the Class D state championship trophy.

The win gave the Tigers (64-7-2) their eighth-consecutive volleyball crown, which matches the state record previously set my Marysville. St. Philip added to its record of 19 volleyball titles overall.
