Wednesday’s storm and the subsequent cancellation of after-school activities in New Castle County forced the DIAA to postpone the girls basketball quarterfinals and, in turn, schedule a tripleheader Saturday at the Bob Carpenter Center.

The girls quarterfinals are scheduled to be played tonight.

One doubleheader still will be played at Smyrna High School. Sanford and Seaford will tip off at 6; Caravel vs. St. Mark’s will follow.

The second doubleheader, originally slated for St. Mark’s, has been split.

The girls semifinals now will be played Saturday night at the Bob Carpenter Center.

The boys semifinals will be at the Bob today as scheduled.
