In their words:“The student section this season has been a great time, and due to how powerful it’s been, we have been recognized by various news and media outlets. Whether it’s the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, 96.1 Kiss/105.9 The X radio stations, WTAE local news, Mark Madden’s blog, or even being ranked the number one student section in Western Pennsylvania by @WPIAL_Insider, we have definitely made a name for ourselves this year.”
-Drew Brown, senior
“The student section this year has been the highlight of my high school career. All week I look forward to getting rowdy with 300 other kids on Friday night. It’s an awesome thing to be a part of.”
-Dylan Mitchell, senior
“The combination of our school spirit and creativity has made us one of the best student sections in the WPIAL. The number of kids we have makes it easy to get into the other teams’ heads, especially with everyone bringing signs, banners, and big cardboard heads of everything from the opposing players to celebrities.”
-Luke Stotz, junior
“Moses parting the Red Sea was our claim to fame, and the school spirit and participation has improved tremendously this year. Not only that, but we still have our three best ideas for this years student section yet to be executed. While my friends and I have worked tirelessly to make this possible, the bulk of the credit belongs to the North Hills student body, the school administration, and most of all, the teams we cheer for.”
-David Haddad, senior
