AMHERST, N.Y.-Sweet Home remained unbeaten with a 49-13 win over North Tonawanda Saturday afternoon at Sweet Home.

North Tonawanda scored first when quarterback Chris Woodard found Jake Ferry for a 20 yard touchdown. Sweet Home scored the next three touchdowns to take a 21-7 lead into the locker room at halftime. Jordan Evert scored from four yards out and then quarterback Kevin Torrillo hit Jordan Heine for a 22 yard touchdown. Torrillo connected with Mark Walker for 12 yards as the Panthers built a two touchdown lead.

Early in the third quarter the Panthers put the game away for good. Brandon Smiley had two interceptions early in the third quarter including one he returned 35 yards for a touchdown.

Evert added two two yard touchdown runs and after the Lumberjacks scored again on a four yard run by Jon Zellner Sweet Home’s Juylan Coleman completed the scoring with a three yard run.

Sweet Home is 4-0 this season and has won 62 straight games against Section 6 opponents.
