The Bulldogs’ boys the Falcons’ girls had solid opening meets at Circleville.
For Bloom-Carroll, Greg Cordle took first place in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:02.76, Nick Brubaker won the 200 IM in 2:13.73 and the 100 butterfly with a time of 57.49.
Max Brown was first in the 100 free in 59.35. The boys 200 free relay of Cordle, Thomas Robinson, Brown and Brubaker took first with a time of 1:46.35.
Leading the way for Fairfield Union was Grace Hoover with first-place finishes in the 100 fly and 100 back, and Kylee Arnold finished first in the 50 free and 100 breaststroke. Bianca Pilosano had second-place finishes in the 50 free and 100 free, while Madison Van Atta added a third in the 100 back.
The 200 medley relay of Van Atta, Arnold, Hoover, and Pilosano finished second, as did the 200 free relay of Arnold, Jamie Walter, Pilosano and Hoover. For the boys, Josh Bowers finished third in the 200 free and second in the 500 free.
