Brent Runion and Matt Poock each won in straight sets for the Redmen in a dominating no-league win over the Tigers on Wednesday.
“Tonight was a good opener for us,” Bellevue coach Jim Picciuto said. “All of our guys played well for us, but Brent and Matt both won big singles matches in their first ever varsity matches. We needed those guys tonight and they delivered.”
Blake Kryling and Drew Ring won in three sets at first doubles while Tony Harper and Cody Henderson dropped just three games in a two set match at second doubles.
