Position: Forward
Height: 5-foot-10
Weight: 155 pounds

Athletic achievement: He scored 26 goals and passed for 15 assists this past season, leading the Rams (21-3-3) to the Class 5A state semifinals. The 2013 Houston Chronicle Player of the Year, George is a two-time Class 5A First Team All-State selection and was a 2012 All-Region VI honoree by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. He concluded his prep soccer career with 77 goals and 36 assists.

Academic excellence: George has maintained a B average.

Exemplary character: He has volunteered locally as a youth counselor and coach in addition to donating his time as part of multiple community service initiatives in association with his church.


“George has everything you look for in an attacking player,” said John Lawhon, head coach of Klein (Texas). “He can take guys on 1v1, he can score and he can distribute. He is a difference-maker.”

THE FUTURE: George has signed with Jefferson College in Missouri.
