Carlton Hurst averaged a double-double for Aurora Central this year. The senior scored 24 points and added 12 rebounds a game and will play next year at Colorado State.

D’Evelyn’s Luke Stratman was the state’s 2nd leading scorer with 27.5 points per game. He hit 121 3-pointers this year which is a Colorado state record and finished with 321 for his career, that’s a state record.

Regis Jesuit’s Josh Perkins poured in more than 25 points per game for the Raiders. He is a 5-star college recruit and led his team to the 5A Elite 8.

Denver East’s Dominique Collier is an absolute stat stuffer. He averaged, 20 points, 5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 3.5 steals per game for the angels and led them all the way to the state championship game.

Our 9news player of the year is Eaglecrest’s Treshawn Wilford. No doubt his playoff performance launched him to the top of this list. His game winning play in the Elite 8, and then a dominating 21 point performance in the state finals to lead the raptors to their 1st boys basketball championship.
