JASON JORDAN’S WHAT I’M THINKING TODAY …
Fans are getting crazier and crazier during the high school football playoffs. I went to a game recently and, naturally, it went down to the wire between two talented teams.
The game ended when the running back fumbled with 30 seconds left and the opposing team recovered.
This is the same running back that ran three touchdowns, including the game-tying touchdown just five minutes prior to the fumble.
And wouldn’t you know it… The fans in the stands were about ready to send my man on an ambulance ride. Yep, they blamed him for the loss.
Like the defense’s inability to stop the other team had nothing to do with it. Like the quarterback’s two picks had no bearing on the loss.
It was incredible to hear their twisted logic.
Two words super fans: Smarten up.
WHAT I CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF RIGHT NOW …
