JASON JORDAN’S WHAT I’M THINKING TODAY …
I recently had an extensive conversation with Myles Turner about his ascension from unranked, unknown player to No. 10 in the country in a matter of two months.
How crazy is that?
I mean I respect recruiting rankings, but, from a player’s standpoint, if that doesn’t tell you all you need to know nothing will.
You can’t get so caught up in where you’re ranked that you lose focus on getting better.
I know this sounds all “boy scout pride” but, honestly, you’ve just got to focus on being the best player that you can be.
Whatever your weakness is, perfect it.
If you do that there’s a strong chance that you won’t pay to go to college.
And as a person who’s been through the student loan hustle, trust me, free tuition is a phenomenal look.
WHAT I CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF RIGHT NOW …
“Probably Fall Out Boy. I listen to them a lot.” – Former Loganville (Loganville, Ga.) baseball star Clint Frazier who was drafted No. 7 overall by Cleveland Indians
