Introducing … Jae’Sean Tate
School: Pickerington Central (Pickerington, Ohio)
Year: Class of 2014
My dream job, outside of being a professional athlete, would be … A graphic designer.
If you’d see my iPod, you’d find … Anything Drake or Juicy J.
I currently drive a … Ford Explorer.
Someday, I’d like to be driving a … Dodge Charger. All smoked color.
The best part of my hometown is … Everyone knows everyone and we know how to party.
My dream city to be living in 10 years from now is … Wherever the big mansions are in Ohio. I wanna stay in this state. I love it.
The ultimate compliment is when I get compared with … Grandmama AKA Larry Johnson. I love that comparison.
If I could be teammates with one pro athlete in any sport, it’d be … LeBron James.
If I could meet anybody, it would be … Beyonce. That’s self explanatory.
The websites I couldn’t live without are … LiveMixTapes.com.
The greatest meal ever is … Chipotle. I get the double wrap burrito with triple rice. Steak and the Tabasco sauce is like the most addictive sauce ever. Really!
Best movie of all-time is … Friday. It’s just hilarious.
My can’t-miss TV show is … Martin or Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
My favorite pro team is … Los Angeles Clippers.
Worst thing about pro sports is … I think it’s fixed sometimes. I feel like the guys take games off. I mean look at the Heat-Pacers. That went to seven games, but look at Game 7. Stop it!
Best uniforms in sports belong to … Oregon. No doubt.
One thing my coach always says that I’ll never forget … He says “Planes, trains and elevators; we don’t chase em’ we replace em’.” That means if you don’t wanna play here we won’t beg you.
I will consider myself a success when I … Am comfortable and all my bills are paid off. And when I can take care of my family.
If I won the lottery, the first thing I’d buy is … That burrito at Chipotle. I’m telling you it’s that good!
If I could tell one person thanks, it would be … God. For … Blessing me with everything and giving me all of the opportunities that I’ve gotten so far. I thank Him daily.

JASON JORDAN’S WHAT I’M THINKING TODAY …
Have you ever seen a kid playing basketball that wasn’t tall enough to be elite, but had that ferocious nature about him that made you say “he’d be trouble on the football field.”
Sometimes I wonder who’s advising these kids.
I’m talking about the 6-foot-4 center who knows how to use his body exceptionally well and is a force on the court. But he’ll never go to Kentucky or Kansas or Duke because he’s just too small.
No one’s recruiting him to anchor the paint.
True, he could play Division II or extremely low level D-I but if he ever decided to strap on a helmet and take some of that aggression out on the opposition, he could potentially be running out of the tunnel at Georgia or doing the Gator Chomp at Florida on Saturdays.
All goes back to one of my prevailing themes; kids, and more importantly, parents have to be realistic about where they’re at and their potential.
You might not be the next Shaq (it’s hard to be 7-feet-tall), but you could work on being the next Tony Gonzalez.
WHAT I CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF RIGHT NOW …
“J. Cole. I can’t wait for his new album to drop next week!” – Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, Ga.) forward Isaiah Wilkins
