Introducing … Zaria Jordan

School: Rocky Mount (Rocky Mount, N.C.)

Sports: Cheerleading

Year: Class of 2016

My dream job, outside of being a professional athlete, would be … A Kardashian! Love their style.

If you’d see my iPod, you’d find … A lot of Drake and J.Cole.

I currently drive a … Well, I don’t drive so my mom chauffeurs me around in her Charger.

Someday, I’d like to be driving a
… Range Rover.

The best part of my hometown is … The people in it.

My dream city to be living in 10 years from now is … Los Angeles.

The ultimate compliment is when I get compared with … I don’t typically get compared to anyone. I like that though. I am 100 percent my own person and I feel like I’m very unique.

If I could be teammates with one pro athlete in any sport, it’d be … Austin Rivers.

If I could meet anybody, it would be … Khloe Kardashian.

The websites I couldn’t live without are …

The greatest meal ever is … Everything!

Best movie of all-time is … Don’t have a favorite one, I just like a lot of different movies.

My can’t-miss TV show is … Pretty Little Liars.

My favorite pro team is … Los Angeles Lakers.

Worst thing about pro sports is … It only lasts a season. I wish basketball was year-round.

Best uniforms in sports belong to … New York Knicks. I love their colors.

One thing my coach always says that I’ll never forget … To always keep going; even if you mess up just keep going.

I will consider myself a success when I … Have accomplished all of my dreams.

If I won the lottery, the first thing I’d buy is … A car. Probably that Range Rover.

If I could tell one person thanks, it would be … My mom. For … Always supporting me in everything that I do.

It never ceases to amaze me how grown adults can go so hard at teenagers who are just trying to make the right college choice for themselves.

That hate is strong!

For this reason I’m thinking of exposing these grown children with a weekly award called “The Silky Johnson.”

Most of you know that Silky Johnson was a character in one of Dave Chappelle’s skits from Chappelle’s Show. Johnson won “Hater of the Year” in the skit, which was one of the funniest in the show’s history, I think.

I wonder if this would dissuade the hating epidemic.

Beware adults, the Silky Johnson award is still being pondered.
