Thomas Jefferson swept their 4A volleyball regional Saturday at Thomas Jefferson high school in Denver.

The Spartans beat Greeley Central in straight sets and then did the same to Durango. The regional victory puts the Spartan in to next weeks state tournament. They become the first Denver Public School to qualify for the state tournament since 1984.

The Spartans will head to state with a 23-1 record.
